In this case study, I highlighted our methods for addressing user pain points and discovering the best solutions for them through usability testing, ensuring a user-centered approach for upcoming product updates.
Description
Dara is an Iranian mobile banking application which is now live in the market being used by several banks. We created this app with the intention of tuning the current strict banking services and expressions into a more convenient, enjoyable and broader ones through an application.
Goal
As the banking sector evolves with technology, our goal is not only to introduce new services but to continuously improve existing ones. We strive to enhance the user experience based on direct feedback and usability studies, ensuring that Dara remains aligned with user needs and industry advancements.
Pain Point 1
Determining where to best position the "Save Transaction" toggle to ensure user convenience and intuitive use.
Options Considered:
A. Locating “Save the transaction” in the receipt page
B. Locating “Save the transaction” in the confirmation page
Usability Study Outcome
More users were happier with A, Locating “Save the transaction” in the receipt page.
Pain Point 2
Identifying the ideal spot to allow users to save banking information into their contacts without disrupting the transaction flow.
